RV Parkings in Québec City

Finding a campsite or a place to park your camper or RV isn’t always easy. Luckily, there are plenty of spots in and around Québec City to help you make the most of your RV vacation. Below is a list of dedicated parking zones, so you can travel with confidence.

Overnight Parkings

You’ll find a wide variety of campgrounds on Québec City’s outskirts no matter which direction you arrive from.

And if you want to get closer to the action, there are several secure sites where you can camp within the city itself.

RV parkings near Old Québec

  • Bassin Louise, 320, rue Abraham-Martin
    Year-round, 24/7 
    No service, no reservations
    $70 for 24 hours (pay station)

  • Baie de Beauport, 1 boulevard Henri-Bourassa 
    Mid-May to mid-October
    No service. Gate closed from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. with no exit or re‑entry. No vehicles over 20 ft. 

  • Halte VR de la Faune, 9300, rue de la Faune
    End of May to mid-October, 24/7
    No reservations

  • Parc de la Chute-Montmorency, 5300 Boulevard Sainte-Anne (parking lot at the base of the falls)
    No service. Space limited.

RV parking on Île d’Orléans 
If you’re drawn to the beauty of Île d’Orléans, don’t be shy! There’s room for your RV.

  • Domaine Orléans RV Rest Stop
    1067 Chemin Royal, Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans

Overnight parking is prohibited in rest stops and Walmart parking lots.
There is also Rving in Terroir that offers a free parking network in vineyards, farms, orchards, etc.

Daytime Parkings

If you’re just passing through Québec City, there are a few places to park your camper or RV and visit nearby tourist sites without worrying about parking tickets.

Daytime parkings in Québec City

  • Plains of Abraham
    Rue Ontario near 835, avenue Wilfrid Laurier  
    Year-round until midnight
    Pay first at the pay station at 835, avenue Wilfrid Laurier, then park on Ontario.

  • Parc Victoria – Stade Municipal (Municipal Stadium), 60 Rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy
    Year-round until midnight
    Free for the first 60 minutes weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Free on weekends from 6 a.m. to midnight.  

RV Dump Stations

At the end of your stay, use one of Québec City’s many easy-access stations for emptying your reservoir before you hit the road.

  • Charlesbourg, Halte VR de la Faune, 9300, rue de la Faune
  • Garage municipal de Beauport, 415, boulevard Raymond
  • Parc de la Chaudière de Cap-Rouge, 961, boulevard de la Chaudière
  • Garage municipal de L’Ancienne-Lorette, 6476, rue Yvon-Dolbec
