A Whole New Québec Winter Carnival


Check out the 30‑ft snow sculpture and the ice towers with their multisensory light and sound experience in the all‑new Royal Court. See the giant floats in the revamped night parade. The Québec Winter Carnival features also more than 60 partner events in the 4 corners of the region, including a Polar Bear Swim in a river at Jacques-Cartier National Park. February 8 to 17

Québec City gets a big case of hockey fever when thousands of young players from all over the world descend on the city for the International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. February 13 to 24


An Art Show Dedicated to Environmental Awareness


The local and international artists invited to exhibit works at the 2019 Manif dart are drawing inspiration from a special theme: So little among the stars, so big against the sky. Québec City’s fine arts museum (MNBAQ) will house the main exhibition, while the streets of the Old City will be filled with public art. February 16 to April 21

The World’s Biggest Multisport Winter Event

The Pentathlon des neiges has become a winter tradition that attracts thousands of people to the Plains of Abraham each year. Locals and visitors form teams to tackle the various disciplines that make up the event, which is open to families, businesses, schools, and even seniors.
