Behind the cruise terminal, you’ll find a surprising oasis with a relaxed atmosphere: the Cour arrière du Festibière. Dip your toes with a refreshing drink in your hands! For a real swim, head to Saint-Roch Marina, where a pool, wading pool, resting area and all kinds of activities await you right in the heart of the city. Are you more of a beach person? Stretch Your Legs
Along the splendid Parc linéaire de la Rivière-Saint-Charles, joggers enjoy 32 km of walking trails and cyclists ride the 8 km bike path. If you want to go for a walk with a view, make your way to Parc de la Plage-Jacques-Cartier or to Promenade Samuel-De Champlain, both sites run along the majestic St. Lawrence River. Breathtaking!

You don’t need much to be happy in Québec City: a good meal including some local products, a blanket, and the perfect spot for a picnic.
Good Eating and Drinking
It’s time to eat! Go and explore Lower Town, less touristy but every bit as vibrant and welcoming. In Saint-Roch, a neighbourhood that’s popular with foodies who love its great restaurants and microbreweries, have a meal at Nina pizza napolitaine or Sales Gosses and savour a beer at Noctem. In Saint-Sauveur, an old working-class neighbourhood, discover the meaning of abundance at Bouchon du Pied Bleu or the intimate atmosphere of Kraken Cru. Then, cross the Saint-Charles River all the way to Limoilou for dinner at La Planque or Arvi. Decidedly local AND delicious!
