Quartier Petit-Champlain: Shop Your Heart out
When in Québec and in need of your shopping fix, you will have hard choices to make. You will have to pick a neighbourhood to go shopping. We know, it’s a hard life! Of course, we would recommend that you shop your heart out in each and every one of Québec City’s unique districts, including the Nouvo St-Roch, eclectic 3rd Avenue in Limoilou and the more refined rue Cartier, but as time is of the essence, you may have to choose just one.
Rue du Petit-Champlain was voted Canada’s most beautiful street for its charm, authenticity, historic cachet and emphasis on local culture.

Why not visit a quintessential Québec district. USA Today did not name Québec City North America’s Best Winter Wonderland for nothing! The Quartier Petit-Champlain is straight out of a snow globe! Walking its cobblestone streets is in it of itself quite magical, but you only need to look up to see the historic architecture and one-of-a-kind boutiques where you will find everything your heart desires.
Rest assured summer and fall visitors, the Quartier Petit-Champlain is amazing 365 days a year. Instead of maple taffy in the snow, you’ll savor maple ice cream. Sounds good? It is! You will find in the Quartier Petit-Champlain everything from passionate artisans to kitschy souvenirs shops.
